Village Halls Week 23rd – 29th January 2023

This year National Village Halls week will celebrate how Village Halls provide warm, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for all.

Why not plan an event for the end of January? Perhaps you could hold an open day, or a coffee morning, afternoon tea or soup & roll lunch to fundraise for your Village Hall. You could showcase all the events and activities in the Hall or perhaps just one ‘Warm hub’ event.

Explain how trustees are working to make their hall warm, and welcoming, and inclusive. Perhaps you could reach out to people/groups who don’t use your hall?  Hold an event that young people want to do?

Ask the people coming to give you feedback about how the hall serves the community and if there are other activities they would benefit from? Make a case study like the one below!

Your Hall is an amazing facility – watch and share this  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh0MiZ6y5ik&t=129s

A resource pack to help you will be available soon! It will most likely contain, badges, posters and more. Please register here shortly https://acre.org.uk/village-halls-week-2023/

Will you please contact me [email protected]  if you are doing something for Village Halls Week, I will be very interested to hear about it and post news of events on our website and social media channels.
