Hethe Village Hall

Hethe Village Hall, Playing Field and Play Park, used by local clubs, organisations and for village events

One storey brick-built building with large hall, kitchen area and toilets

A separate disabled toilet also contains baby changing facilities

The hall hire includes tables and chairs, which are also available for external hire

Outside the hall there is a patio area and an adjoining children’s play park. The hall adjoins the village playing field which is managed by the Parish Council

The kitchen area is equipped with a sink, fridge but no cooker. There is crockery, cutlery and tableware

It should be noted that for any event involving the sale of alcohol a licence must be obtained and the management committee can assist with that

The management committee is fully committed to access for all and the hall is fully accessible for all mobility needs.

The hall has easy access for loading and unloading and an adjoining parking area with ample space for most events

Although a rural village Hethe is easily accessible from the M40 junction 10

There is currently a project underway to enhance the facility, including new lobby area, toilets, separate kitchen and additional meeting room

The village hall does not have an entertainment license which allows the performance of live and recorded music

Marcham Centre

Situated in the village of Marcham and completed in the summer of 2020, Marcham Centre comprises two large Halls suitable for events, functions, meetings and training as well as a Kitchen and a Meeting Room; in the centre of which is The Hub – space to sit, work or socialise and enjoy a coffee.

The building is fully wheelchair accessible. WiFi/broadband service accessible throughout the building.

Alongside the Halls is a MUGA, and the village cricket and football pitches.

Access is straight off the A415 (on a bus route) and the car park has 40 places.
