Adderbury Parish Institute

Adderbury Institute is situated next to the Oxford Road on The Green in Adderbury. Built in 1897 to serve the community the Institute is available for hire by groups, individuals, organisations and businesses. It has many regular users. The spacious main hall with wooden floor is approximately 12.5m long by 7m wide with a high roof space. Acoustic panels have recently been installed to improve sound quality. A modern fitted kitchen with service hatch, range cooker, fridge freezer, water boiler, microwave, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc stands to one side of the main hall. The Institute has male, female and disabled toilets available. There is a small upstairs viewing balcony and sitting behind the main hall a smaller ground floor room and an outside paved patio area. There is heating throughout the building and free WiFi. Adderbury Institute can accommodate a maximum of 100 people with a seated capacity for 80. There are plenty of tables and chairs available.

Abingdon, Preston Road Community Centre

The Community Centre has one large hall measuring 8.53m by 25.9m. This can be subdivided into two sections by sound proofed partitions giving a small hall measuring 8.53m by 8.8m and a medium hall measuring 8.53m by 17.1m.
There is a large, fully equipped kitchen and toilets with  full disabled access and facilities for the disabled.
There is a seating capacity for up to 200 people.

The hall can be hired for charity events and children’s parties.

In addition the centre operates seven days a week with a wide range of charities, interest groups, clubs, franchises and not for profit groups each offering community participation
