The government has published GUIDANCE to help with running your charity during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

“Charities are concerned about what to do during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, so we have set out our response to the most commonly asked questions.

We want to assure charities that our approach to regulation during this uncertain period will be as flexible and pragmatic as possible in the public interest, whilst helping trustees to be aware of and think about the wider or longer impact of their decisions on their charity.”

Oxfordshire’s Local Authorities have put together ADVICE FOR CONTROLLING COVID-19 INFECTION

This guidance pulls together published government advice to help support people wanting
to work or volunteer with practical advice on infection control measures to minimise the risk of person to person spread of COVID-19.

Because it’s a new illness, we do not know exactly how coronavirus spreads from person to person. Similar viruses are spread in cough droplets. It’s very unlikely it can be spread through things like packages or food. Your local district council Environmental Health Department can provide advice on safe food handling and preparation.”
