Why are Village Halls important to communities?

We’re coming up to Village Halls Week soon! (March 17-23rd)

Watch our video below to see how halls contribute to community…https://youtu.be/AeyYlqNGgUY

Halls are a really important part of both rural and urban communities, giving a space for people to come together – whether that’s for their games club, dance class, party, or committee meeting.

That’s why we’re holding two events in Village Halls Week 2025 to celebrate the volunteers who make this all possible! These events are both a celebration, an opportunity to meet other hall volunteers, and a chance to learn from expert speakers in a couple of talks.

Tuesday the 18th March in Stewart Hall, Brightwell Cum-Sotwell

Saturday the 22nd March in Duns Tew Village Hall, Cherwell
